Swimming pools are among the popular leisure venues for modern people. For pool staff, regular Water Quality Testing and maintenance are essential to ensure a safe swimming environment and extend the service life of facilities. Below is a detailed introduction to the water treatment procedures for Swimming Pool Water Quality Testing:
1.Algae removal and inhibition
Add copper sulfate according to the volume of the pool to eliminate or inhibit algae growth.
2.pH value adjustment
Monitor and regulate the water pH (acidity and alkalinity). For instance, when adjusting the pH value to 7.6, add sodium hydroxide per cubic meter of water as required.
After dissolving the above water-soluble chemicals, spray the solution evenly over the water surface, then turn on the circulation equipment and keep it running for about 30 minutes.
3.Sterilization and disinfection
Use trichloroisocyanuric acid disinfection tablets to kill harmful substances in the water. The dosage is 2 grams per cubic meter of water, which raises the residual chlorine concentration by 0.5 ppm.
Add the tablets evenly into the pool 1 to 2 hours in advance, then start the circulation system. This operation shall be carried out when the tested chlorine content is lower than 1.5 ppm.
4.Water purification
Add water purifiers to purify the pool water, following these steps:
(1) Thoroughly scrub the pool walls and floor;
(2) Dilute the purifier with water and spread the solution evenly on the water surface;
(3) Activate the circulation equipment.
5.Sediment removal
Operate the drainage system to suck out and discharge sediments accumulated at the bottom of the pool.
Water treatment theories and technologies are widely applied in swimming pool engineering. Professional Water Quality Detectors are used to conduct real-time monitoring throughout the process, so as to fully guarantee water safety.
