The performance we refer to actually means the extent to which a water quality monitor can achieve its intended functions. Performance characteristics are some parameters and quantitative expressions standardized to determine the performance of the instrument.

Then, as consumers, it is very important to be familiar with the performance characteristics of the monitoring instrument! How should I put it? For instance, stability is a kind of performance of equipment, and the main parameters for measuring stability are zero drift and range drift. Simply put, stability here is usually expressed by zero drift and range drift. The performance characteristics we refer to are quantitatively expressed through a certain quantity value, range, etc., which can be called “performance indicators”. It can be said that the numerical values and dimensions of such performance characteristics vary for different instruments, but they share a common feature: the definitions are the same. They are performance characteristics shared by different types of monitors and are also important data for comparing instruments of the same category. At the same time, they are also important parameters for evaluating their basic performance. Such performance characteristics mainly include accuracy, repeatability, stability, linear range, response time and other conditions.
