The Validity Period of the Water Environmental Pollution Detection Report
Date:2025-12-17 Browse: 50

With the continuous progress of society, the harm caused by water environmental pollution has become increasingly serious. To avoid some of the hazards caused by water pollution, what we need to do is to carry out killing and disinfection treatment on these polluted water sources. During the process of treating these sewage, it is necessary to conduct real-time monitoring of various indicators in the sewage and wastewater. However, the data monitored is not singular. It is necessary to conduct repeated monitoring multiple times to assess the overall situation and determine the water quality conditions and problems.

The environmental behavior of enterprises themselves and the social image they bring have also been given due attention. The monitoring reports obtained by water environment monitoring stations, especially some pollution monitoring data, are used as evidence of the legality of activities. Then, how long is the validity period of the water environmental pollution detection report?

Can a single monitoring data meeting the standards prove that the validity period of the water quality monitoring report of this enterprise is stable and up to standard, and then it can be discharged?

When supervision, inspection and monitoring exceed standards, does the enterprise impose home-based penalties based on the recent compliance monitoring report?

Can the water environment regulatory department use that monitoring report for a long time to determine the situation of sewage?

If there are reports such as the acceptance monitoring of governance within a certain period of time, are they valid?

It is very important to scientifically understand the validity period of water quality monitoring reports.

The validity period of the monitoring report on water pollution sources is determined by taking into account multiple factors, including the nature of different monitoring types, the methods of monitoring and sampling, as well as the local economic development level and environmental management requirements.

Regulations on the validity period of test data

Monitoring frequency of water pollution sources

1)For pollution sources with a wastewater discharge volume of ≥ 5,000 tons per day, automatic online water quality monitoring instruments should be installed for continuous automatic monitoring and real-time surveillance.

2)For the main pollution sources with a wastewater discharge volume of 1,000 to 5,000 tons per day, proportional automatic samplers and flow measurement devices should be installed for monitoring once a day.

3)For pollution sources with wastewater discharge of no more than 1,000 tons per day, monitoring should be conducted 3 to 5 times a month. Simultaneous monitoring of water quality and quantity.

4)For pollution sources with unstable production, the monitoring frequency should be determined based on the production cycle and pollutant discharge conditions.

The online water quality monitoring instrument is widely used in the monitoring of multiple industries, including online monitoring of medical wastewater, drinking water, process water, industrial water, etc.
